Longshore Coffee
Tits the Season
Tits the Season is Longshore's annual fundraiser coffee for breast cancer support and awareness. $2 from every bag is donated to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, a wonderful, local non-profit that provides support, resources and education to all who are affected by breast cancer. This year's coffee is a women-produced, fair trade organic offering from a group of pygmy women farmers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. You can read more about their amazing story here. In the cup you'll find strong notes of ripe berries, honey and dark chocolate, with hints of graham cracker and a crisp, tea-like finish. This is a truly a delicious coffee, with an inspiring story, made for a great cause!
Stephen Miller is the owner and roaster at Longshore. Stephen's wife, Bethany, inspired and largely directed the creation of Tits the Season. Bethany, a breast cancer survivor, wanted to come up with a way to give back and help other people who have dealt with this illness. The name, design and coffee selection are all her idea. Stephen plans to continue the celebration yearly with annual iterations of Tits the Season. Pick up a bag today to support a great cause and share a delicious brew with someone you love!
NOTE: As a limited time fundraiser coffee, Tits the Season is not eligible for subscriptions and is only sold in 12oz bags.
